At Jawai Safari, we strive to provide an unforgettable wildlife experience. However, we understand that plans may change. Below is our refund and cancellation policy to ensure a smooth booking process.
1. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Safari Bookings
- Cancellation 7+ days before the safari date – Full refund (excluding transaction fees).
- Cancellation 3-6 days before the safari date – 50% refund of the booking amount.
- Cancellation within 48 hours of the safari – No refund, as arrangements are already made.
- No-shows or late arrivals – No refund or rescheduling allowed.
Hotel & Accommodation Bookings
- Cancellation 10+ days before check-in – Full refund (excluding service charges).
- Cancellation 5-9 days before check-in – 50% refund of the booking amount.
- Cancellation within 4 days of check-in – No refund as the reservation is confirmed.
Rescheduling
- Safari rebooking is allowed once (subject to availability) if requested at least 72 hours in advance.
- Hotel rescheduling is subject to the property’s availability and policies.
2. Refund Processing
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
- Transaction fees and bank charges (if any) are non-refundable.
- If payment was made via a third-party platform (PayPal, Razorpay, etc.), refund timelines depend on their policies.
3. Changes & Cancellations by Us
In rare cases where we must cancel a safari due to extreme weather, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances, guests can opt for:
- A full refund or
- A free reschedule for another available date.
